Place a few potted plants around your home, or perhaps start an herb garden in your kitchen. Studies show that indoor spaces that contain plants improve well-being, lower blood pressure, and improve productivity, compared to spaces without plants. You can try vines or spider plants, cactus, or an amaryllis flower if you want some that are easy to maintain and sturdy. You could even try the art of bonsai. Also if you grow an herb garden, you can use the herbs for cooking, not only satifisfying to grow, but satisfying to eat.
