Try to make one friend at work this year that will be a deeper and more meaningful connection than just work colleagues. Studies show that people who are happiest can say, “I have a best friend at work.” This helps you look forward to the workday and also makes it easier to bear the stresses of work. If you have no one like that, consider if you are able to bring in a friend to a job at your workplace. If you can’t bring in someone, consider meeting people you haven’t talked to before at your work.
